Hello,
Last week, I jetted over to New York (isn’t it interesting how ‘jetted’ implies speed and importance and glamour, rather than mere flying?) to appear on Good Morning America’s Faith Fridays segment. It was such an honour to be invited.
The whole thing was over in seconds, but I thought you might like to see some behind-the-scenes photos.
I am now back home, glad to have caught up on sleep and retreated to my cave for a few days. Tonight, I’ll be talking to Camille T. Dungy about her brilliant book, Soil: The Story of a Black Mother’s Garden. Hope to see you there!

What a tremendous amount of presence you embodied to do so. I watched it a few times just now out of utter fascination for how you enjoyed the moment, stayed open to it, and kept aligned with yourself, your body and all that you are.
