I’m on retreat in Cornwall, but I’m popping my head up today to share this gorgeous new UK paperback edition of Enchantment, which is out today. I cannot tell you how much I love the cover, designed by the brilliant Holly Ovenden for Faber.
I wrote it during those long pandemic days, but it honestly seems more relevant than ever to ask the question: How do we tend to our hearts and our souls in these turbulent times? My answer is not to defer wonder until everything calms down; it is instead to go out and find it as a way of sustaining ourselves for the long years ahead. That connection to our awe, our love and our fascination is an engine for compassion. It deepens our humanity. It reminds us what is worth fighting for.
