Enchantment paperback day!
After a not-so-enchanting week
Hello,
This will be short and sweet because, friends, it has not be the best few days. I came down with a chest infection last week, and my breathing got so bad by Tuesday that I had to spend the afternoon at the hospital, breathing in lovely nebulized drugs in a cloud of oxygen. That was actually one of the highlights; the other two were getting the iconic cup of NHS weak tea and a sandwich from the trolley, and the dog greeting me like a returning hero when I got home. Yes, Fraggle, I have been away fighting the Pelopponesian War; ready me a feast. Not least because all the steroids are making me hungry*.
I am so sorry if you were booked for either of the events I had to cancel this week - but I also know you’ll understand because that’s exactly what we do here. Thanks for all being so lovely, as ever; the dates will be rebooked, promise. However, I have laid very still for two days and I’m determined to make it to tonight’s launch event. It’s nice and close to my home, and I get to hang out with

ANYWAY, what I’m meaning to say is: the paperback of Enchantment is out today in the UK!! You can find it in all good bookshops, and your pre-orders should be arriving imminently. You can buy a copy here but please consider your local bookshop first.
