This reminds me of an encounter I also had with a fox about 3 weeks ago, on an icy Saturday night. Such wonderful spirit animals, I'm still trying to work out what it meant!
This writing shared by Nina McLaughlin has exceptional moments in the turns of phrases. I read this and I know at least one thing: this is what writing is for. To grab us and pull us back into our world which is ever always so much bigger than we imagine -- unless so often it is there is someone who activates the openings of ourimagination such as this.

This post by Nina Maclaughlin reminded me that I should pick up my copies of Winter Solstice
and Summer Solstice from my local independent bookstore. I finished Winter Solstice this morning--so moving and perfect for this time of year.
